Epicurean Kentuckian: Breakfast Croissant

2013-07-09 - 212 Public Square, Columbia, KY - Photo by CM staff. Chef Steve Chundy created this breakfast croissant at Cafe on the Square, 212 Public Square, Columbia, KY. Phone 270-385-6004. He starts with a croissant baked earlier in the morning in one of the Cafe's own ovens. He adds a omelet style egg, with melted Swiss, and avocado, then to the customer's order: Lettuce, sweet onion, sweet pepper and jalapeno pepper, and tomato. Something different from many breakfast sandwiches - it's cooked to order, every time.
