The Bear Affair Bears are back

2013-07-07 - 413 Fairground Street, Columbia, KY - Photo By Ed Waggener. The Bear Affair Bears were waiting to be placed on the might Myers Amusement Midway Sunday morning, July 7, 2017. The show is expecting much better days in Columbia, KY, than they had Saturday, July 6, 2013, in Stanford. Torrential rains necessitated the closing of the midway at yesterday morning. But with sunny weather expected most of this week in Columbia, the show is expecting Columbia to be a great show, according to Billy Burns Pickett, Columbia, KY, who works with the show while it is in Central Kentucky. Lights should be on this evening, Mr. Pickett said. The midway opens for the first time in the 2013 Fair at 6pmCT, Monday evening, 2013.
