Familiar faces at every Farmers Market market

Adair County Judge Executive Ann Melton, and husband Gary Melton listen as Barbara Armitage, discussed Caesar as a a star attraction at the Saturday Farmers Market on the Square with her son, David Moore, far left, who remembered to bring Caesar, his 235 pound Great Dane puppy, to the Saturday, June 29, 2013. The CJE not only checks on details the county can help with, she and Mr. Melton always shop each of the stalls. This week, she found sausage made in Adair County at the "Coburg Mall," Darrell Bunnell's three tent strip, which included Mike Meyer's fresh Adair County produced beef and pork - and which, next week will include Darrell Bunnell's home grown chickens. Saturday's market was an almost perfect one, with almost a mini Whole Foods market for a day in nearly perfect June weather.
