Adair County recognized as tops in Student Transportation

Adair County Transportation Director David Jones
was all smiles as he holds the plaque from the Kentucky Department of Education designating the Adair County Transportation Department as top transportation department in the Commonwealth. The award was presented Tuesday evening, June 25, 2013 at the annual awards banquet of the Kentucky Student Transportation Association in Louisville, KY. Adair County Schools operates a fleet of 43 school buses and employs 43 full-time drivers. Adair County buses log nearly half a million miles per year.
