Friends in the Valley at Giles House

2013-06-25 - Giles House, 302 Spout Springs Road, Knifley, KY - Photo by Innocent Bystander. Nearing the end of a 15 mile bike ride the Friends in the Valley riders were hardly tuckered at all by the leisurely PPV effort Saturday morning, June 22, 2013, when they reached the Giles House and posed for this picture in the Becky House Yard, near the famous Spout Springs. From left, above, Diane and Gary Rose, who arrived on more conventional, two wheel, multi-speed road bikes, and Mark and Sheila and Ford, the Adair Countian late of Colorado, Gerald Holt, who road their tadpole style recumbents. "It was a nice, slow ride," Mr. Holt reports. A good time was had by all.
