Pastries baking starts day at Cafe on the Square

2013-06-18 - 212 Public Square, Columbia, KY - Photo CM Advertising. Trays of Pastries straight from the oven are again a part of the Cafe Columbia scene. At left Obie Hingle has a tray Danishes, one filled with sweet cream cheese, the other with fresh strawberry filling added. His mother, Ellen Hingle, displays a new specialty and the Cream Cheese Walnut Mauritius, on a fresh pastry with apricot glaze. Customers are almost fighting over them.
