2nd Annual Book Fair: Mike and Renea Watson

2013-06-01 - 500 Public Square, Columbia, KY - Photo by Ed Waggener. Early arrivals at the Book Fair this morning were Renea and Mike Watson. Mike Watson, the Adair County Historian, may be the best known figure in Adair County. His wife is from Augusta, KY - and yes, they know the Clooney's. Renea remembers when her baby sitter was a Clooney, and the time when she was a little girl, sitting on the knee of the sitter's brother, George Clooney.The Watsons have a number of books - many basic, must have Adair County histories - but equally important, the fair is a great time to share Adair County stories with a real authority on the history of the area. The book fair is still just getting underway, at the Historic Adair County Courthouse, 500 Public Square, Columbia, KY.Second Annual History & Genealogy Book Fair & Sale on Saturday, June 1, 2013, from 10am-3pmCT/11am-4pmET, in the Historic Adair County Courthouse, 500 Public Square, Columbia, KY.
