The Bottom Line on Neighborhoods is that the beautiful scenery is just a bonus, like this one showing the red, white, and green of West Fortune Street. The real value is in the neighbors. The anchor family now, three generations of the Kenneth and Sandy Janes family have what the community can only hope with be seven or seventy generations of Janeses and their descendants. Families like this one are the big reasons why East Fortune Street is one of Columbia's great neighborhoods. Ed Waggener, denizen thereof
