AC Hospital District board members before significant meeting

2013-05-01 - Cafeteria, Westlake Regional Hospital, 901 Westlake Drive, Columbia, KY - Photo by Ed Waggener. Members of the Adair County Hospital District were in an upbeat mood before last night's April 30, 2013 regular board meeting in the cafeteria began. It was a significant meeting, going beyond the marquee item, confirmation from the board's administrative overseer, Neal Gold, of the affiliation of Westlake Regional Hospital with the state's largest health provider, Norton Healthcare. From left, board secretary Richard Grant; Chair Craig Pyles, Vice Chair Neal Gold, and Member Brad Keltner. Out of frame but present, Member/treasurer Bruce White. Affiliation agreement papers have been signed. Norton Healthcare will not be managing Westlake, but, already, Mr. Gold said, "We're seeing positive benefits." - Ed Waggener
