FM2: CJE came through for Farmers Market on the Square

2013-04-20 - Adair Annex, 424 Public Square - Photo By Ed Waggener.
Adair County Judge Executive Ann Melton was pleased with the turnout this morning at the Farmers Market on the Square. She and Columbia Mayor Mark D. Harris gave every assistance to the market. The market was confined to the Adair County Annex Parking lot, but is expected to grow as more produce is available from local gardens. Judge Melton also made sure that the restrooms at the Annex were open for market goers. Wi-Fi is avalable at the site, also courtesy of the Judge and Adair Fiscal Court. As the market grows, Mayor Harris is assuring the producers and vendors that more stalls can be installed on Saturdays in the fourth quadrant of the square. The market will be open each Saturday through the growing center, 8am-12pm noon CT.
