The first Farmer's Market on the Square, Saturday, April 20, 2013, 8am-12pmCT, will have lots of fresh baked bread, Barbara Armitage, an organizer of the event says, bringing to mind for her the quote: "The smell of good bread baking, like the sound of lightly flowing water, is indescribable in its evocation of innocence and delight." M.F.K. FISHER. The market will be set up at the Adair Annex, 424 Public Square, Columbia, KY, and has the blessings of CJE Ann Melton and Columbia Mayor Mark D. Harris.
