No Strangers to ACPC site: Chairman Burton, Supt. Reed

2013-04-10 - Adair County Primary Center, 158 Col. Wm Casey Drive, Columbia, KY - Photo by Ed Waggener. Adair County Superintendent Alan Reed left and Adair County Board of Education Chairman Floyd Burton (Div 4) are no strangers to the building site for the new Adair County Primary Center. They were listening to Branscum Construction Company Project Manager Terry Loy explain why, even with protective helmets, it was advisable to walker under the area where 500 degree hot pitch was bein used to install the roof "sandwich." The new school has six inches of insulation between the inside steel sheath and the outside one. The energy efficiency of the new building will far exceed any yet built on the campus.
