Beau Sanders wins No. 700 in Tiger Uniform



2013-04-04 - Campbellsville, KY - Photo from Campbellsville University. Campbellsville University - responded to back-to-back losses with a 4-1 win Wednesday, April 3, 2013, at Morehead State University, giving Tiger head coach Beauford Sanders his 700th career win in a Campbellsville uniform. Sanders, who is in his 23rd season as the Tigers' head coach, is the first collegiate baseball coach to reach 700 wins at one school in the Commonwealth of Kentucky since Keith Madison (University of Kentucky) and Joel Murrie (Western Kentucky University) both reached the mark in 2002. Sanders record currently stands at 700-471 (.598) with the Tigers. - Chris Megginson
