New mowing tractor almost ready for Adair Co., KY roadways

2013-03-29 - 1122 Campbellsville Rd, Columbia, KY 42728 - Photo by Ed Waggener. Terry Goodin worked with Adair County Magistrate Joe Rogers (6) and representatives of the Adair County Road Department to match this in-stock New Holland T-50-50 to mowing needs. The tractor comes with better specs for mowing, than most other tractors, was priced several thousand dollars below expected cost, is in stock, and, because it is on State Contract, the purchase did not need to be bid. It will be accessorized with safety features and should be ready for mowing duty in days. Goodin is sales manager at Hobdy, Dye and Read, the New Holland and Kubota farm equpment dealer, at 1122 Campbellsville Road, Columbia, KY. A vote to buy the tractor was taken March 28, 2013, in an 8:30amCT Special Adair County Fiscal Court Meeting, with all Magistrates present.
