Neal Gold will be point man for WRH management team



2013-03-26 - Westlake Regional Hospital, 901 Westlake Drive, Columbia, KY - Photo by Ed Waggener. Adair County Hospital Board Trustee Neal Gold will serve as a volunteer as the "point man" the on-site person to handle many of the day-to-day situations which would ordinarily be handled by a hospital administrator or CEO. The board approved the arrangement tonight at the board's regular monthly meeting. In a short meeting, the board went into executive session at the outset and returned to announce that CEO David Rasmussen had tendered his resignation at the trustees' request. Following this announcement the resignation was accepted and the new interim "team plan" was announced with Gold given the lead position while a search continues for a new CEO.
