Creekbank marker? Does it designate anything

2013-03-16 - Russell Creek off East KY 80, Columbia, KY - Photo By Ed Waggener. There's marker about 25 feet above Russell Creek
on a cliff off East KY 80 which faces the stream. Nothing is legible now. The surface is completely covered in race. One would wonder whether there are several of them along the stream and if they were once used to to mark a high flood mark, or what. It's on a well explored section of the stream between the Russell Creek Bridges on East KY 80 and the one on Greenhills Road. If you know - we at CM haven't a clue - please share using the comments button with the photo. Just curious. Gary Rose writes that it may just be a teeter-totter seat. - EW
