ACFD attacks grass fire caused by blown transformer

2013-03-10 - East side, Columbia, KY - Photo by Rodney Thompson, Jr.. Sunday afternoon at 3pmCT, the ACFD responded to the intersection of Heartland Circle and Green Hills Road to a grass fire, There was about one-half acre of ground burned on a vacant lot. The cause was from a blown transformer. There were 15 firemen on the scene for an hour. - Donald Hare (One of the firemen may be Dennis Loy, maybe not; please let us know any positive identifications. It's difficult with no faces visible. - CM)
