Peg Schaeffer's dog which thinks it's a cat isn't the only animal that thinks it's something it isn't. Esquirel II, so named after Esquirel I, a character from a children's book, must think he is the Alpha Bird at our little bird breakfast feeder. He is bigger than the birds and takes up most of the little feeder platform, but Esquirel II is not alpha all the time. A big Blue Jay soaring in can have him dashing away in a flash. - Linda
