Getting Ready for Transfer Madness

Crystal Hester, left, of Corbin, KY, was one of the student speakers at a recent press conference promoting Kentucky Community and Technical College System's (KCTCS) Transfer Madness, an entirely online - at TransferMadness.org -statewide transfer fair Wednesday, March 6, 2013, 9am-9pmCT/10am-10pmET, where students can chat online with transfer advisors, search for scholarships, download materials and get questions answered at a time that suits their family and work schedules. Hester is a student at Somerset Community College Laurel Campus and plans to transfer to Eastern Kentucky University in the fall. She is shown here with Dr. Jay Box, right, KCTCS chancellor. SCC students utilizing Transfer Madness can make easy transfers to 4-year schools, including Lindsey Wilson College, Campbellsville College, and WKU/Glasgow in CM's immediate area.
