2013-02-23 - Town Side, Green River, Greensburg, KY - Photo from the Collection of Larry Smith. Larry Smith, Operations Manager, 99.9 FM the Big Dawg, writes: "Green River Flood 1949. Before the Green River Lake was built in the 1960's this is what would happen to Greensburg when we received heavy rains for days at a time...I hope you will take time to enjoy this classic photo with the vintage advertising on the barn. The barn is gone. It stood behind the Greensburg Post Office (Main & Columbia Avenue)." - LARRY SMITH
