The Bond between Us: There's a deep, deep bond between Sydney and the writer, Peg Schaeffer who writes: "This is a picture of Sydney, my best dog. I adopted him on December 1, 2002. He turned 12 in December, 2012. He is now totally blind and deaf but that doesn't stop him. He still uses the pet door to go in and out, knows where the food and water is, and will sit beside me while I eat or watch TV." - PEG SCHAEFFER
