2013-02-15 - ACHS, 526 Indian Drive, Columbia, KY - Photo Adair School Staff. Col. David Thompson from the Kentucy Commission on Miliary Affairs was in Columbia today to visit with Supt. Alan Reed and later with students and sponsors of the Army Club at ACHS. Col. Thompson is a strong proponent of jROTC at ACHS. He said that Adair County High School is now 59th on a national priority list for a Junior ROTC program, but with federal cuts the program is unlikely to be in place for the 2013-14 school year. Included in the picture are, from left: Col. Thompson, Tyler Burton, Alex Kulac, teacher Kyle Ballou, Trevor Stonecypher, and Ann Young, counselor. Photo by ACHS staff Permalink | Comments?
