Adair Fiscal Court, February 12, 2013 - Waiting to give reports

2013-02-13 - Adair Annex, 424 Public Square, Columbia, KY - Photo by Ed Waggener. It was a big night for Adair County Road Superintendent Jobe Darnell, center as Fiscal Court approved the purchase of newer, better Mack trucks for the department and he was able to report that the county's new Total Patcher system is within days of been in operation. Terry Williams, left is a member of the department. At right, A.L. Sinclair was back to report on Solid Waste progress for the first time in months. He reported that the last four major illegal dumps will be cleaned up this year, and that there will be free tipping in 2013; but he called it a shame now much litter is on the Adair County roadsides for crews to clear this year. "It's a mess," he said. Clean up will start in March.
