Columbia firefighters battle blaze tough, bone chilling weather

With temperatures down to around 17 degrees F., Columbia Fire Department personnel fought a residential fire at the home of Jeff Coffey and his son on Friday, February 1, 2013. Firefighters shown from left: Bradley Caldwell is manning the hose at the doorway, aided by Chris Bragg and Jeff Hadley. The fire destroyed most of the personal belongings of Coffey and his nine year old son, old Austin. The house is owned by Mendell and Teresa Milby.
