A tragedy no one wants repeated again

2013-01-24 - KY 61 & Adair County Memorial Bypass, Columbia, KY - Photo by CM outtake. A photo reminder from a story first aired by Larry Smith on FM 92.7 and has been one of the most intensely scrutinized topics ever on ColumbiaMagazine.com since the first story and second stories on the subject the day of the tragedy and the following days: Three-vehicle, fatality and injury collision, the second at the intersection of KY 61 and KY 55/Bypass. Traffic was shut down and turned back in all directrions for several hours, Saturday, January 19, 2013, while vehicles, glass, and other debris was cleared from the crossing.
