2013-01-23 - Columbia, KY - Photo from Ann Curtis. Ann Curtis sent this photo of an offering on e-Bay, a collectible plate with a drawing of the old Columbia Graded and High School, where the bell was rung for so many years by one of Columbia's all-time most honored citizens. Clicking Readmore accesses Ann Curtis story about the unusual tribute to Joe Taylor, Sr, at his death. A related story, Perhaps a note can be added for the beloved bell-ringer, by Laverne Woody Jankowski, suggests the plaque with the old bell as an art piece at the new Adair County Primary Center might include a reference to Mr. Taylor.
