Daffy-dils have gone blooming bonkers? January 19, 2013

2013-01-19 - E. Fortune Street, Columbia, KY - Photo by Ed Waggener. Maybe they're not so crazy as it seems but they're out of bed awfully early this year - as early as we've seen them here. The daffodils probably won't bloom before the deep freeze just ahead. Not sure when the earliest record date is for daffodils to bloom but this would seem to be nearly it. Crocus usually beat daffodils by several days, but we've only seen them in the budding, not blooming stage this year on CM.
