Heather Jackson: Horatio Alger story comes true

2013-01-14 - 212 Public Square, Columbia, KY - Photo by Ed Waggener. They did it!. Mother-daughter team, Trish, right and Heather Jackson, have been notified that Heather has been awarded a Horatio Award Scholarship for four years of study at Vanderbilt University. The award, together with a scholarship from the University, means that the outstanding Adair County High School senior, covers all finances needed for her to complete a baccalaureate in four years. There's been years of planning and work, but it's now paid off. They're together, above at the Cafe on the Square, Columbia, KY.
