Tebb's Bend: Toll House renovation underway

2013-01-14 - Tebbs Bend Road, Campbellsville, KY - Photo by Ed Waggener. The old Tollhouse, a vestige of the days when the Barbee Stage Coach was the main public carrier for passengers from Columbia to Campbellsville, is undergoing renovation. Plans are coming together for major development in the Tebb's Bend Civil War/Green River/Homeplace on Green River complex with investments planned, already, which exceed $10,000. Details aren't yet released, but are expected sometime this year. The toll station is just north of the historic steel bridge over Green River, below the Green River Dam.
