Good night for the City Gas Department

2013-01-09 - City Hall, 116 Campbellsville Street, Columbia, KY - Photo by Ed Waggener. Councillor June Parson, facing camera, talked with, left, Linda Cook and her her husband, Columbia Gas Superintendent Ron Cook, and right, Councillor Robert Flowers following the Monday, January 7, meeting of Columbia City Council. At the meeting, Superintendent Cook outline major expansion plans for the gas department, starting with the Junior Brown Chicken House Phase. Later, a 2" main will be replaced with a 6" main to bring better service to Lindsey Wilson College, with adequate capacity of expansion through Green Hills, and out the Russell Springs Highway in steps to the Russell County line.
