Where is former cheerleader Mary Smith these days?

2013-01-05 - Edmonton, Ky. - Photo from Annette Richards.
Annette Waggener Richards cleaned out old newspaper files recently and shared this memory with her sister-in-law. The Glasgow Times newspaper photo is of the 1966 Metcalfe County High School Cheerleaders with their trophy for having been selected fourth region cheering champs. From left are: Mary Smith, Faye Lambirth, Linda Marcum, Paula Reece, Glenda Pierce, Camilla Jolly and Patty Sparks. Three of us, Paula, Patty and me, married and moved to Adair County with husbands Danny Propes, Dan Antle and Ed Waggener, respectively. Faye's last name is now Faye Morrison and I believe she lives in the Cincinnati area, Glenda is now Glenda Eaton and lives in Barren County and Camilla is Camilla Shive and lives in Metcalfe County. I haven't heard from Mary Smith in many years and would love to catch up with her if any reader can connect us. Thanks Annette, for sharing this fun memory of good friends. You're a great sister!! -- Linda Marcum Waggener
