Downtown People: Mike the Breadman gets Square underway

2012-12-07 - Fountain Plaza, Downtown Columbia, KY - Photo by Ed Waggener. Mike the Breadman was leaving the Square this morning after getting Moore's Lunch & Poolroom underway with fresh buns and light bread and getting tons of advice from one of Moore's breakfast clubs, Sara Lee Bread comes from London, from the old Kern's Bakery. It's good bread, and really good with a dollar sausage, mustard, and light bread sandwich at Moore's. Cheaper too. The same sausage with homemade biscuits at Moore is a delicacy - and priced as such. And, speaking of bread, Joe L. Barbee said he'd seen Bunny Bread in his travels somewhere, lately. Photo taken in the early morning, Friday, December 7, 2012, as downtown was coming to life - EW
