Epicurean Kentuckian: Report from Marlington, WV 2012-12-05 - Marlington, West BG Virginia - Photo by Innocent Bystander. Noted Restaurant Reviewer and Raconteur Johnny Vaughn, Jericho, KY, and sidekick Rick Scott, from elsewhere, recently attended the Marlington, W. Virginia, Road Kill Cookoff. Mr. Vaughn was not too keen on the Porcupine Shishkabob, dissing it as somewhat dry and grainy. "However," he said, "the Possum Burgoo was excellent," adding, "The Wild Board and Bear was just like we cook it at home." He said that he and the Hon. Rick Scott could not find the rattlesnake.
