Christmas in Columbia: Connor and Allie



2012-12-02 - Downtown Columbia, KY - Photo by Ed Waggener. Every person Connor Anderson meets is a new friend. Everywhere the nine year old goes, he wins hearts. He has become, as much as any earthly person, the symbol of this Christmas period in Adair County. Allie, Bernie Bricker's nine year old Huskie, was a star, too. Everyone wanted their picture taken with the beautiful dog with the impeccable manners. But there was a special, precious moment when Connor and Allie met. "I like her," Connor said. The words did not have to be so much said, as seen. Nor do words have to be added that the new bond was sincerely reciprocated. Allie said that in her eyes. Animals seems to be able to naturally meter souls better than angels ever could. Taken at Christmas in Columbia, December 1, 2012.
