Taking the oath of office: Circuit Judge Judy Vance

2012-11-30 - 201 Campbellsville Street, KY - Photo by Ed Waggener. It's now Judge Judy Vance. Patrick Vance holds the Bible as his wife, Judy, takes the oath of office as 29th Judicial District Circuit Judge, administered by 29th District Judge Michael Loy. The new judge made history as the first female elected circuit judge ever to hold the office in Adair County. The circuit courtroom was packed, with dignitaries, family members, law enforcement, court officials and friends for the occasion, which started at 2pmCT, Friday, November 30, 2012.
