Fifth Man: AC Hospital District meets with full board

2012-11-28 - 901 Westlake Drive, Columbia, KY - Photo by Ed Waggener.
The Adair County Hospital District met last night, Tuesday, November 27, 2012, with a full five-member panel in place for the first time in many months, with attention above focused on the Fifth Man, Richard Grant, attending through the white telephone in front of CEO David Rasmussen in the far right of the photo. Mr. Grant was present throughout the meeting by phone, voting on all questions and offering frequent comments. Mr. Rasmussen commented to the board that member could attend, comment, and vote by phone, but could not make or second motions. Others in the photo, from left are the Board of Trustees longest serving member, Bruce White, treasurer; Neal Gold, newly appointed and newly elected Vice Chair; newly elected Chair Craig Pyles; and member Brad Keltner, who, along with Gold, was attending his first meeting. The Adair County Hospital Board of Trustees is the governing body for Westlake Regional Hospital and its affiliates.
