2012-11-21 - Walnut Grove Road, Adair County District 3, Columbia, KY - Photo by Ed Waggener. Third District Magistrate Sammy Baker held a cake cutting on the deck of the new Walnut Grove Road Burns Creek Bridge today, Saturday, November 21, 2012. The cake, a moist masterpiece of dessert, was baked by the Magistrate's wife, Nadine Baker. The bridge dedication, held in conjunction with the cake cutting, raised the bar on future bridge openings - putting first things first - Free food. Besides the main entree, Magistrate Baker also served Grilled-on-the-Bridge Deluxe Cheeseburgers, cold drinks, and bottled water. A good time was had by all. - EW
