Open House at Adult Learning Center, Lindsey Wilson College

A nice crowd with lots of dignitaries visited the Somerset Community College Adair County Adult Learning Center, 108 Lindsey Wilson Street, Columbia, KY on the campus of Lindsey Wilson College today. The center held open house this afternoon, Thursday, November 15, 2012, from 3pm-6pmCT. Above, LeAnna Bennett, Assistant Director, Christine Williams, coordinator for ESL - English as a Second Language - and Andrew Wiley, Math Instructor at the Center, are three of seven member of the staff. Sandy Claunch, Somerset, KY, is the Director of the School. The center is a major player in Adair County's effort to earn full "Work Ready Community" designation, preparing students to obtain GED diplomas. Their goal is 63 graduates a year over the next 3 years.
