Rumored bear threat at Greensburg, KY only a rumor

2012-10-31 - 112 Public Square, Greensburg, KY. - Photo by Innocent Bystander. Shades of Woody's Styrofoam Bear. Senior Members of Adair County's prestigious Blue Ribbon Bear Board responded to reports of a "marauding" bear threatening the populace of Greensburg, KY - possibly a wandering lovelorn male from the Clay Ridge, Ebenezer, Haskinsville sector. Upon investigation, it was determined that this bear posed no threat to livestock, humans - even small nuisance yippy dogs. However, untrained observers are reminded to give ground when they spot any bear and leave the dangerous work to a trained BRBB agent - You never know what notion a bear will get - better safe than et, as the old boy says. Also, absolutely no more prank calls. Gas is way to high and our time is far too valuable and out work too serious to go gallivanting off on wild goose chases. -CM
