Downtown Days 2012: Kids Carnival moves in



2012-10-10 - S. Reed and E. Fortune Streets, Columbia, KY - Photo by Ed Waggener. Mike Best, Lawrenceburg, KY owner, of Bluegrass Rides and his assistant, Chris Wilds, also of Lawrenceburg, KY, were busy Wednesday afternoon getting the kiddy rides set up. The Kids Carnival will occupy the Municipal Parking lot at the corner of S. Reed and E. Fortune Streets. in addition to the swings ride, there will be a rocket ride, kids carnival games, and Jurassic Park inflatables. Mr. Best is looking forward to the weekend in Columbia, with opening around 4pm-5pmCT Friday, October 12 and all day on Saturday, October 13, 2012. It's his first time to set up in Columbia, but he's been a show owner and operator for five years now. Clicking Readmore accesses the Friday-Saturday Downtown Days schedule.
