2012-10-09 - 400 Quadrant, Public Square, Columbia, KY - Photo by Ed Waggener. Downtown Days & Folklore of the Old West gets underway in earnest with the rising of a marvel of engineering, the Rusty Nail Saloon, the dry-as-a-bone Main Stage for music at Downtown Days all for good, clean fun - with nary a swallow of demon rum, no evidence of floosies or weaponry, except those pieces held in the holsters of the constabulary & colleagues - as if there's any need of that, the show being right in front of Murrell Burton's office. Construction of the stage is a show in itself.
