2012-09-30 - Edmonton, KY - Photo by Linda Waggener. There's not a dog in the world which doesn't know my Mom, Geniece Marcum, as a special friend. Trinket, the little, usually-shy fellow and "Bo," Beauregard, in back, officially "belong" to Mom's grandson, daughter, and son in law but the dogs know who cooks them bacon and scrambled eggs for breakfast when she's with them and they come running when she appears. After being with them in Edmonton for a week, she came to spend the day in Columbia Saturday and, out of nowhere, the neighbor horses came up to the fence, knowing she'd have apples and carrots for them, and a neighbor cat came by for a chat and a snack. They have her number for sure, but how they knew she was here before she'd even gotten in the door was beyond me. Just my magic mom. - Linda
