Adair Garden Club makes stepping stones and more

2012-09-29 - Beautiful Joppa, Adair Co., KY - Photo by Maury E. Lewis. More than stepping stones The Adair County Garden Club got carried away and made more than stepping stones in a stepping stone project we recently undertook. We used mortar to make plaques, we decorated the stepping stone with Mosaic tiles. One person made a tomb stone to go on her sweet dog's burial plot and spelled out his name on it using mosaic tiles. I found out I have the perfect place at home in Beautiful Joppa to do this kind of work so we will be doing these kind of things again. One member sent me an idea showing us how we can make concrete flower pots. If there is anyone out there who is interested in joining us in our education and play times you can call Barbara Armitage at 250-250-2979 for more information. - Melewi
