Conner: There really is a Big Dog at the Big Dawg

2012-09-28 - 101 E. Main Street, Campbellsville, KY - Photo by Innocent Bystander. Conner Dog Smith, the guy on the left is, In Reality, the Big Dog at the Big Dawg radio station. And sometimes, the cerebral canine gets to bark on air for his the more rustic - and totally mythical - Big Dawg Hounddog logo dawg. Connor is very much a public figure in Campbellsville, where he has reached the level of fame in the Taylor County's capitol city as Nipper, the Berliner Grammophone logo dog, gained worldwide. That logo, as everyone knows, was perhaps the most famous trademark - His Master's Voice - ever. The shy guy on the right is Larry Smith, 99.9 FM The Big Dawg news anchor and station operations manager. Next for Conner DS, the Wonder Dog? Perhaps a lucrative call in talk show for other smart dogs in the area - if Shoreline will set the satchel down and get right.
