Tour bus really from Montgomery - Not Montreal.

2012-09-08 - Holloway and Williams Streets, Columbia, KY - Photo by Ed Waggener.
Wily bus driver T.J. Shamburger
accommodated me when I eagerly asked if he were driving the Canadian Tour Bus Columbia has so long awaited by saying he was from Montreal - but quickly corrected himself saying he meant to say another M town, Montgomery - Montgomery, Alabama, USA. He was carrying the Auburn University/Montgomery No. 4 ranked men's soccer team, here tonight for the NAIA Game of the week with No. 1 ranked Lindsey Wilson College. The game gets underway in Walter S Reuiling Stadium, Where Champions Play at 151 Holloway Drive, Columbia, KY, at 7pmCT, this evening, Saturday, September 8, 2012. The weather was georgeous when the photo was taken, at just two hours before the game. In reality, it may be just as good having busloads of NAIA athletes coming to Columbia as Canadians. The Alabamians are better tippers, they speak the same language, and they are real nice people, even if they are here to try to beat our best. - Ed Waggener
