Certified Organic produce delivery to Adair Co., KY restaurant

2012-09-04 - 1849 Wheeler Hill Road, In The Flatwoods, Adair County, KY - Photo by Matt Baker. Paul Bella, a Certified Organic Farmer deliverd certified organic produce to the Flatwoods Diner, 1849 Wheeler Hill Road, today. Bella's gardens are on Chestnut Grove Road in the Breeding area of Adair County. The delivery included sweet long and bell peppers and jalapenos. Matt Baker, the owner of the diner, said he tries to use Adair County produce anytime it's available, and added, "We've been running on locally grown tomatoes most of the summer. The peppers were especially welcome. We use a lot of them in omelets and when the menu calls for grilled peppers and onions.." Lewis, the Answer Man, did not know more about contacting Paul Bella, other than he's located at Breeding, on Chestnut Grove Road.
