Class of 1953 Columbia High School Class

Those graduates in attendance at the reunion of the Columbia High School class of 1953 reunion held at Lindsey Wilson's Cranmer Dining Center, Saturday, September 1, 2012, were, front row, from left:Doris Green Robison, Jessie Burton Gaskin, Helen Claycomb York, Martha Coffey Jones, Irene Bailey Harmon, Sonny Williams, and Sandra Norris. Back row: George Rice, Bob Jeffries, Sue McClister Conover, Mitchel Tupman, Sara Tupman, Jeanette Bennett Page, Sara Whitney Boston, Francis Gadberry Antle, Mary Jane Williams, Gerald Norris, Billy Smythe. The 1953 CHS class was the last at the old high school before Columbia High School, Breeding High School, and Knifley High School were consolidated to become Adair County High School.
