Have to give credit where credit is due

2012-08-13 - 342 Gen. John Adair Drive, Columbia, KY - Photo by Ed Waggener.
Laughing as they fessed up. Superintendent Alan Reed and Director of Student Transportation David Jones said they would take credit for the bright new look at the J.T. Coomer Building, the bus garage, but couldn't. "Wish it had been our idea," Mr. Reed said. "I'd love to have the credit. But Adair Countians need to know that it was the idea and the work of, Donnie Curry, Tommy Murray, Ronnie Bryant and Roy Lockridge." He said that the administration did provide the materials, and added that David Jones had to be given credit as the "elan man" and for actually pitching in and helping with the physical labor. Jones downplayed his role. "They did it," he said. Referring the Curry, Murray, Bryant and Lockridge.
