2012-08-08 - Columbia, KY - Photo by Larry Smith. Melissa Fudge and Jim Flowers of the Mary's House Committee were interviewed by Larry Smith early this morning on The WAVE, 92.7 FM. The two were part of the original committee to take on the ambitious plan to build the house for Mary McGuffin and her seven children after the family lost their home and possessions in a fire. Now, with a final push including the help of the local radio station, the project is now only minutes, hours or no more than a day or so away for reaching the construction start goal of $40,000 in the bank.
