Market off Main Campbellsville's answer to the Hay Market in Louisville, KY, and the Pavilion in Lebanon - is making summer time lively each Friday, 10am-6pmET/9am-5pmCT, almost rivalling the huge numbers on Main Street now that Cruising on Main is back, tolerated by a hospitable new police chief. By the way, there is now a micropolitan challenge: Micropolitan center, Somerset has as many as 3,000 cruisers on Fridays and Saturdays. Micropolitan center Campbellsville, an even more advanced community, is out to exceed that record, according to the man holding the jar of honey, who says farm products from other counties, including Green, Marion and even Adair County, is offered at The Market off Main.
